After a three-year shutdown due to COVID, food service is back in business in the student center at the STLCC- Florissant Valley campus. The cafe is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays and offers many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every morning, students can get the energy they need from breakfast foods like eggs, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, bacon, toast, bagels, muffins, donuts, coffee, etc.

After morning classes, various lunch foods are available, like burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, pizza, and more. They also provide vending machines in most buildings to grab a snack or a drink to quench your thirst before or after class as well.

With reasonable prices of $10 or less and many different snacks and foods to choose from daily, students can look forward to going to he student center to grab something. The student center cafeteria serves different cuisines weekly, such as Mexican, Chinese, and Italian foods, as well as more, introducing many cultures through their food. They are also accommodating regarding vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. With the new and improved cafeteria, everyone should be able to find something they like.

The student center is also a great place for students to socialize, relax, get help from others, access resources, make friends, and many more, including open access to weekly events. They can be informational for students, fun, helpful, and encouraging. From helpful staff to helpful students, St. Louis Community College strives to provide a welcoming place for students to eat and socialize.
