his was the fourth time the Genshiken and the Fine Arts Club hosted the Origami Tea Party. This year’s event was held in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Student Center providing a great opportunity for fun, food, and crafts.
Featuring a complete lunch and desserts along with tea and lemonade, many students spent a couple of hours with friends playing a game or two or creating an art project. Some attendees spent more time eating and having fun with their friends than creating crafts.
Attendees had a chance to win one of three anime dvds in a raffle with continued mandatory attendance. Not all the tables had an activity to clear one’s mind, but the instrumental music, eating and laughing with friends contributed to the relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The Origami Tea Pary was a nice way to spend a couple of hours in between classes. It will be nice to see what they do for the next Origami Tea Party.
