Journalists

Kevin Hawkins has served as a staff writer for the Forum newspaper since April 2025. He brings a broad range of experience in the field of behavioral health and has a bachelor's degree in general studies with a double minor in communications and public relations from Fontbonne University. He is currently pursuing completion of the Certificate of Specialization in the STLCC Addiction Studies program. Kevin is also working to establish a solid foundation in journalism while completing complementary course work in information systems and technology.  

Hawkins is excited to bring his experience and unique perspective to this new endeavor and is looking forward to the many opportunities which will allow him to further develop his writing and editing skills while also taking on the prospects of helping to support and guide other student journalists.
